Let's start at the beginning. Here are a few pictures from when Dad and I drove out to Seattle from Indy. It was 2,600 miles and took us 3.5 days. We drove mostly straight through, but stopped at some fun stuff along the way. Here are the highlights of that trip. How I came to be a Seattle Hoosier. Before the trip. Look how low the car is sitting! There wasn't room for so much as one more bag. It was packed tight.
My dad at Uranus (world's largest solar system model) in Pekin, IL.Field of Dreams in Dyersville, IA was probably my favorite part of the trip. That was really fun.
Just outside of the Badlands in South Dakota.
I think this is where they filmed the moon landing. The Badlands were awesome.
More Badlands.
We went to Wall Drug in Wall, SD. I rode a Jackolope (which they seem to be obsessed with).Dad belongs on Rushmore (also at Wall Drug).
The real Rushmore.
